This workshop is now full and kits are being despatched. I might be able to accommodate a couple more people if they are London based and I can deliver them a kit in time. Get in touch if you want to join in. Previous participants are welcome to join the review session on Sat 3 Oct to show work.
Sat 26 Sept 12-1.30pm
& Sat 3 Oct 12-12.30 (optional)
Join us on international World Cyanotype Day for a fun celebration of the Wet Cyanotype Technique. Bring your own tea and cake, or champagne ! This workshop will be held via Zoom and you will be posted a kit of materials.
You will learn how to work with this exciting and unpredictable process to get colourful results. We’ll slop about some bubbles, plants and spices to create colourful abstract patterns! Exposure times (to the sun) are LONG, so you will set up some prints and we’ll review them the following Saturday if you can make it.
Children are welcome to join in this one if you let me know in advance, most of the materials are entirely non-toxic.
We’ll also fit in a general chat about Cyanotypes and look at some examples of exciting things going on in the Cyanotype universe. There should be time to troubleshoot any issues you may have had with sun printing too.
