In 2024 I won another public art commission. “Lay of the Land” was my large mosaic piece made over several months, constructed on 3 panels from recycled and waste materials. It was inspired by the Grand Surrey Canal that once ran below the Deptford Landings complex. My piece is a artistic impression of a birds’s eye view of the area, showing layers through time and different landmarks through history.
