This was a full-on event I organised inside the historic and beautiful St.Nicholas Church. It was to tie-in with my commission for the Timberyard site in Deptford. We began with a tour of the church led by Maureen, and then I discussed my new work and the history that influenced it. After that I chaired a panel discussion on the history of Deptford dockyard. Speakers were Malcom Cadman (John Evelyn Garden), Richard (local writer and dramatist), Maureen (church) and Vanessa (Pepys Forum).

It was an incredibly stormy day, but the event was well attended. We finished with tea and cakes galore, and a practical activity in painting log slices which was very popular.
