If you are interested in gardening, photography, or art you will enjoy this fun session. We will look around the Community Garden at what is growing (both wild plants, and cultivated). We’ll place some plants specimens on top of pre-sensitized paper and expose them to sunshine. The magic comes when we place the prints into trays of water and they turn into beautiful blueprints. This “cyanotype” photo process was pioneered by Anna Atkins in the 1800’s, as a means to document botanical species.
