In 2023, in conjunction with Thamesmead residents and Hive Curates, I led workshops around the canals, the Ridgeway, the Tiny Orchard and Southmere Lake. We observed a wide range of biodiversity, and foraged for plants such as seedheads, ivy and hawthorn. Plentiful “cyanotype” sunprints were made in the winter sunshine, which were added into a light installation, as part of the light festival.
