Discovering Nature Through Scent, Senses and Cyanotype 2.30-4pm Fri 16 May 2025
Free workshop but booking is necessary.
Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the connection between our sense of smell, the plant world, and our other senses. Led by local artist Sarah Garrod (in conjunction with Fifth Sense ), we will forage for plants, make observations, and create a unique plant print using cyanotype print to take home. (cyanotype is an early photography process that uses sunlight on light sensitive paper).
We’ll also discuss how all our senses – especially smell and taste – shape our experience of outdoor spaces, reflecting on what nature means to each of us.
*This session is for over 16s only
*Please note that the garden is accessible, but the (composting) toilet is not.
