Who are we?
Sarah is a Multi-disciplinary artist. She pioneers arts that use non-digital techniques, such as analogue photography and the use of natural plant materials. She makes art that questions our digital future, and the safety of AI.
How do we collect information from you?
This website is made on the WordPress platform. When you visit the website your IP address is stored alongside information on the pages you accessed, including the first and last pages that you looked at. This does not provide any personal information about you but allows us to monitor how the website is functioning. If you complete an enquiry form then your name, email address and contact number (should you provide it) is emailed through to our email account. This is not stored on any file on our computer systems but will remain on our email server should you contract us to undertake any work for you. We encourage that any payments made to us are paid via PayPal. This means we will hold no details of your bank account.
Disclosure to third parties
At no time do we sell any of your personal details to other individuals or businesses. Sometimes we will ask for your permission to use photos that you have commissioned, or appear in, for example by showing them on this website and on social media such as Instagram or Facebook. This is standard practice that the Artist retains copyright in the work and is able to show it as part of a portfolio of past work. Do let Sarah know if you do/don’t want “tagging”, crediting or naming. We will always ask if you want to have your name mentioned in full, or a nickname or no name at all, and we will respect that . If you prefer not to appear in Sarah’s portfolio of work please let her know when enlisting her services.
When photos are used in Instagram and Facebook they can get “shared” to other places. If you don’t want Sarah to use your photo on social media, please let her know.
If Sarah wants to enter any photos in a public photography competition, or print them in a book, she will request your permission first unless those uses are specifically agreed in advance. If you are given a ‘model release’ form at the shoot please check the uses of any photos that are taken.
How your information is stored
Email information for our clients is kept on a password protected computer, it I not accessed on a mobile phone.
If Sarah does a job or shoot or commission for you, she will use your name and address on the top of an invoice which is the standard format. The invoice is prepared on a computer and will be handed to you on the date of the job wherever possible, or posted or emailed if that is more practical for you.
What are your rights
