Fri 18 Feb 2-4pm
Informal photo walk for like-minded analogue photographers, though we won’t exclude you if you have a digital or phone camera! We’ll meet at SET centre, Beresford St, SE18 6BU at 2pm indoors, and have introductions and camera chat before heading off around the fascinating areas of Woolwich where the old is being eclipsed by the new. We’ll walk around the Woolwich Arsenal, along the river, to the Foot tunnel and explore the changing face of the town centre. I can also show you the new art installations by 5 artists (including myself) that are tucked away in surprising sites like alleyways as part of the “Reclaim the River” project. We’ll end with an optional coffee in a local cafe.
Group limited to 7. I’m putting a nominal fee up of £3 to deter people who book on free events but don’t show up.
This is a casual get together and I will not be responsible for your safety or gear on the walk. Just bring yourself and a film camera and some film. If weather is horrendous we might postpone to a different day. Amateur and experienced photographers welcome .18+ only unless by arrangement
I’ll be running a film processing workshop in April for those who want to develop their own black & white negatives.
